We’ve all tried to pull off a scandalous piece of trickery on a football field, generally when a) it’s amongst friends or b) when no one’s watching, however few would have the cheek to attempt a penalty trick that even Arsenal’s Roberto Pires and Thierry Henry couldn’t work. Ukraine are attempting to promote next month’s European Championships by flying a hot air balloon in the shape of the competition’s trophy over the nation’s host cities. There’s something a little bizarre about seeing a colossal trophy floating through the air, perhaps this is what should be presented to Sergei Ramos should Spain win the tournament.
